Hey there peeps,

I would like to start i have only found this site tonight so please dont flame me, please.

Basically i hav had a chipped V+ box for the last 12 months and since they introduced the new cards my contact has said if it goes off then you have to go to these boxes.

So anyway i though well the hell not do it myself as i like doing this kinda stuff.

Anyway my question is, if i do a bit of reasearch on here in the posts and read the guides, does this site have all the tools needed for what i will need ie guides, software, flashing software to unlock channells etc....

And also once channels are unlocked do they usually last a while or do you have to keep reflashing all the time? And also if you get the better boxes with HDD and HD support is it possible set it up like a V+ box would be.

Hi m8, welcome to DK.
Thing is ALL the dodgy cable boxes have either already gone off or will go off very soon. The new encryption system nagra3 will kill off all these cable boxes. Thats why your contact cannot re-programme your card anymore. Loads of areas in the UK have already migrated to nag3 and there screens are now blank.
It is not worth buying ANY cable box for now.

Look into satellite and C/sharing.

so even all the different boxes that you can get Dbox, dreambox etc.... will stop working with the new virgin update.

Will everbody just have to wait then until somebody cracks the new security before you can start to flash the boxes again to unlock the channels?

Is there a newbie guide on here that explains the satellite and card sharing on here about all it all works.

Damn that will mean i will have to get a satellite fitted

You'll have a long wait for someone to crack nagra 3 m8. As far as card sharing is concerned look on Google, discussion is prohibited on here
