Hi have been advised to come here I have just bought digivox xl but having trouble opening section on system info to check emu is turned on i start menu system info press ok then 1004 but nothing happens i have another digivox in house working fine can anyone give me a clue

your probably aware that the normal password is 0000 or the master password 1004
has the box been flashed with latest firmware
have you tried removing power for a couple of minutes
have you tried going into the parental control with either of the passwords, if you can get in then try changing it
if all fails then maybe a reflash will cure it. -
thank for the reply smoggy just bought box brand new so not flashed thought I would open info page first but as quoted unable to open with 1004 have reset with 0000 and have box turned of and on,also can you explain why I am unable to open the file to do the flash,sorry if a bit vague but very new to this just trying to learn whilst out of workComment

I have had no experience with a digivox but as far as I am aware you don't open the flash file you have to put it onto your box using the loaderComment
