Eurovox and Splitter

Hi all,

I have my eurovox 1000SL up and running superbly well.

The thing is, I have it set up with the cable direct from the incomer from VM.
Therefore my box supplied by VM is now sat redundant. (not a Vbox just standard pace VM receiver)

My question is, should I set up a splitter and keep both boxes switched on?

Is it necessary to do this for the purposes of VM?
