    ev 5100pvr probs

    hi, im new on here so bear wid me. i have a sensitive 5100, it has gone down with the words PEAA on front screen for a week now & im fuming as i have read through forum that this could be a sign it may be cloned. ive checked inside box, has silver screws. its bought from a good shop online, i know this cuz ive bought others & they work perfect. i cannot get in as PEAA ceases everything, even tried downloading file again! any suggestions?

      Hi m8,
      PEAA error means your box has gone into protection mode.
      It may be due to loading incorrect firmware.
      A JTAG may fix this but you should first try and return to your supplier for repair/refund.

          thanx for the info b'apple, i'll have 2 check for the guarantee i had dat came with it, i think i may know some1 who could direct me locally for repair though. i'll check with the supplier first. X
