EurovoxMax Cardslot info

Hello to all
could anyone plaese lead me to the info i require to get my self aquainted with the Eurovox max card slot,
(I know its not needed to get things going but
i'd like to learn more about it's uses if there are any?? )

3 years ago when the eurovox went down i was experimenting with the cards and various files and i found that it worked with dbox1 files on a funcard in the slot. However the fact that the dbox1 files dont auto update and you can also manually enter codes in a eurovox if the need arises, makes the card slots uses redundant to us.
