Help Please.

From reading this board,it seems a lot friendlier & reliable than others so i hope somebody can help me with these basic queries.
I have a Eurovox Max V on V.M (Bristol area) & i need the frequency for the channel that shows the boxing pay-per-views. I have the live events screen that says that they will be shown on this channel but they are always on another channel.I have powerscanned since the last p.p.v & cannot remember the frequency number (doh!!). Also, i recently had my box flashed with the new firmware that auto-rolls the codes but when i perform a manual scan it says "please wait for autosort & channel saving".I know that i can go to user installation,press yelow for powerscan,pull down to fav.sort & change it to OFF,but i've been told that as soon as i press EXIT it defaults back to ON. Is there any way to turn autosort off & keep it off.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards autosort off firmware you will find it here thanks to GF Digital Kaos - Downloads - Max-V, EX5000 PVR and the EX1000 Sl Autosort OFF F

PPV channels will be blank until there is something broadcast on it. You should see it as it gets closer to broadcast time, just check through your channel list. If you still cannot find it nearer the event time just drop back.

Just one more thing fella, I've never bothered setting favorites before. If i do & then perform a manual scan or channel update,will the favorites be auto-sorted aswell ? or is it just the main channel list ?

The FAVs will be sorted if you use autosort firmware. If you use non autosort firmware they wont.

You can either use a CDF from another Max, or later EV versions. Or edit your own CDF with the UFL or Voxer.
