    Eurovox lifespan

I've read the odd post on here about people's Eurovox's packing up & needing to be jtagged.Any rough ideas of the lifespan of these boxes ? in particular the max v.

    Regards.

They differ dependent on batch type and whether its a genuine or clone model. The C14 capacitor on the PSU is usually the first to go.

This isnt a fault on the majority of boxes. Regards a timeframe you cannot tell. There are people still using EV1s with no problems.

Thanks lads, I've had my Max v for about a year & was just wondering whether to buy a spare as i'm an absolute clown when it comes to fixing things like this.

        Regards.

I have the Eurovox 2 in one of my kids room and still works fine also have a Blue which I regard as the best for picking up channels compaired to the EX5000PVR and still going strong.
