Correct widescreen Aspect Ratio

I am thinking about buying a box, and i am looking for one that will give me a true widescreen aspect ratio, and not one that just gives a full screen and chops off part of the picture. (like the Starview box super)
Anyones advice would be appreciated.

What I should have added, is how does the Eurovox PVR handle stations which are not broadcast in widescreen? ie setanta sports news etc.

When i watch setanta sports on my wide screen tv the picture fills the screen and looks fine. i have looked on the eurovox menu and i have setup it up to full screen and this doesn't stretch the picture in anyway

What about when you watch 'setanta sports news'?

Do you get the full picture?
