Help with Eurovox 5000 pvr hard drive

i've poped an ide laptop hard drive into my 5000pvr but when i switch it off it wipes my recordings and sometimes a error message reads " hard drive is full or not installed " but there is nothing on there,can you help ??

I think I read on other post it will only take a SATA and must be western digital 120gb.

the reason you get " hard drive is full or not installed " is a common problem m8 just press the record button for a few moments then enter pvr manager to check if its worked and if so that should be you.
