Audio problems with my Eurovox 5000PVR

I wonder if you can help me, i've scanned all the channels in but certain channels seem to have the wrong audio stream. As i'm watching a film or programme there's a narrator talking, they are saying whats happening on screen. I assume this is a setting for the blind or partially sighted. I've tried everything i can think of to change it but have had no luck.

Also does the hard drive go in with the label/shiny side up or the circuit board side up? I've tried both ways quite gently but don't want to force it incase i damage the pins.

    Thanks in advance.

If you are on the upto date firmware, press red and you get a option for the audio

yes the drive has to be pushed in hard and can only go in one way

        Is it the wrong HDD??????

I'm trying to put my Toshiba HDD2D15 80 GB hard drive in but it doesn't seem to go in. Can anyone tell me if this drive is compatable? and if not, which ones are?

        Thanks in advance.

Western Digital or Seagate momentus IDE are the two recommended by the manufacturer. 120 GB is the max. The likes of Fujitsu or Hitachi dont fit unless you cut back the plastic protection cover at the start and end of the pins.

Don't know your exact HDD model maybe it has the same protection cover as I said above.

Thanks satsmo, It's a Toshiba MK8032GAX. I don't think it works though because i've pushed it in as far as i can and the flap won't close properly.
