    eurovox newbie

    hi all, i am concidering purchasing a eurovox, my question is which one is the best and least hassle for updates. this may be given to the in laws who are not very up on anything like this. there tech knowledge ends at turning the tv on...bless em.

    Depends on what you want? if you want to record the EX5000PVR is the way to go, Single tuner so you can only record and watch another channel that is on the same Transponder/Freq's but a good all rounder, other choice is the EX1000SL same as the Max V but better looking both quite simple to update and easy menu etc.

      thanks HiTech, i think i may go down the route of the EX5000PVR. you never know i might get the wife to buy me one... been checking loads of forums and it seems as tho these boxes are getting slightly more reliable these days. any advice on where to buy from?
