    few questions from a newbie

hey guys, i just heard about eurovox from a friend.. currently i have a technomate digital receiver but it seems the eurovox is different ?
do you need to update keys to the eurovox.. if so how often?
do i need a satellite dish for the eurovox to work ?
i just wanna lil bit of info about the box and how it works. i know how to patch and upload keys to my receiver but its a pain in the ass doing it once a week or more so hopefully the eurovox doesnt need updating as much. also does it unlock the adult channels?
    thanks in advance

No Sat as it's a cable receiver, You will not need to input the codes providing you flash the box, Info is in the stickies at the top of the page in red writing.

edit, Yes you get the Adult channels

The majority of suppliers dont preflash them, they usually come with free to air firmware on them, it is up to you to flash it if you want to view all the channels.

Guide is at the top in red writing, see that for more info.

Hard to say whether a good price or not as you didn't say what type of box it was, If its a EX1000SL or a Max V and new then yes a good price if it was a eurovox Blue then no she's been ripped off.

?80 for a vox is ok mate. Personally you shouldnt pay 1p for it being pre flashed as you will get all the info you need on here for 0p. If its fleabay send the guy an offer and say ?65 you have nothing to lose.

cheers mate, i watched a few videos on flashing and looks exactly same as patching so should be easy enough. what box is the best one to get? and what is the whole clone thing about i dont really understand that ?
