Ok while in work a fellow colleague got a phone call from his friend telling that is box was down, i think it was a starview. I got home expecting my box to not work and i was right ..MTV channels dont work..Sky movies not working and alot more, Strange to see that Sky sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and SP news are all working. Is this the end for my eurvox 1000SL ? Is so what are the alternatives?

All seem to be down now in Liverpool. both mine are dead.

I have spoken to a few people in the area and all are the same, I am doing a reset and scan now, but I think it could be N3 has hit.

Well just tried and the bad news is it's all dead.

I'm off to see what I can read up on Nagra 3 now. Lets see how long it is before the next money saving device comes out.

Go into menu, then installtion, then "clear Data"

all you will get is about 80 channels that you can watch, the rest wont work. I just spent 2 hours deleting the crap ones.

Everyone seems to be talking about "Kryptview" boxes, there is a catagory for it on here. I will have to read up on it a bit more before I get one.

Couple on fleabay but they look like that have to have some other internet receiver perm connected to the internet so would work out over ?200.

But there is a newer version out, but some say it will work and some say it wont.

I am in the same boat, I need someone to tell me what box and model will work on N3 ? anyone ???

...... just to clarify - when you say some of the channels dont work is it the case that the channel appears as scrambled channel or bad signal?

Im asking because on mine certain channels are appearing as being scrambled - when i do a manual scan for that channel it still says scrambled - is this what happens when n3 hits as i was told that it would simply say bad signal on all of the channels?

(All sky sports still working though - channels not working so far are e4+1, bravo 2, sky 2 and a few more crap ones).

Yeah they say "Scrambled Channel" All Sky sports still working for me aswell, Movies, MTV and alot more are displaying "Scrambled Channel" .

does anyone know if N3 will block all channels eventually..im in liverpool and have lost about 40 channels..mostly crap so not to bothered..

Few channels went in Swansea last week...all gone today...good whilst it lasted!

Im in Liverpool. Lost a shed load of channels a few days ago and despite running many scans the same channels keep coming back as scrambled. Strangely enough, loads of channels beginning with M, mainly ones related to music, have gone.
However, once specialising in Sports are still there?!?!
