eurovox setup

can someone help me, ive got the eurovox 5000 box, but dont know
how to set it up. i havent connected it up yet...im not to sure how

could you tell me the procedure of setting it up any way?
do i have to connect the white cable to the back of the box before
uploaded the firmware or after? and when do i do a power scan, is that
after the firmware is uploaded or before?

1. upload firmware
2. connect white cable to back of box
3. scan

is the latest firmware dated 15-07-08? not to sure if this is the correct one

setup

is this the correct way:
download the eurovox program
plug in eurovox
connect it to the pc
(do i click the upload button or the download?)
connect white cable to the back of the box
and lastly - scan my box.
