keymaster, does it work

being new to this like a lot of you guys, i have been trying to find a thread on this, but no joy as yet. i have downloaded and installed 2 versions of keymaster one version is like a website the other comes up with a page of codes, which dont seem to work my box anyway, even if they do look as though they are the most recent codes, i am in edinburgh 1. should the area i live in make any differance and 2. keymaster on the 2nd version do these codes update automatically... thanks

The keymaster program does work.

You mean the codes it's generating aren't working for your area. The program doesn't generate the codes, they are manually entered at the other side by someone so it's only as up to date as the person at the other end.

Are you sure you are using the correct codes? What provider are you? What box do you have? Does it contain keys aready? Does it have a provider id already, i.e. 5401, 5A01, 5C01?

Hi, Keymaster has worked for me. There is a refresh button on the top left hand corner of Keymaster. Keymaster however does not give the supplier code which you also need. These supplier codes are readily available on the cable forums. Hope this helps.

thanks for your help, i have been off line today, but i have tried to use keymaster for the codes and it all worked brilliantly... i do see what you mean about the keys being generated by someone else.. etc and by the way i was entering one of the keys incorrectly.... user error...!!!!! but thanks for help, its the first time i have used a site like this and its great to be able to ask questions like this.. thanks very much

hi im having trouble using key master, ive downloaded and unziped however when i try to run it, i get an error msg and it closes - what am i doing wrong?!?

U need to install framenetwork for the keygen 2 work however ah have heard that some folk is havin bother with vista --anyhoo hope the folowin is helpful

make sure when your waiting for codes to come through you keep refreshing the page on your keymaster this does work

Bonar, if you have a look at the other threads, if i remember correctly, theres one called how to manually update the codes, there are links to allow you to download keymaster
