ive followed the instructions given on the channel scan after restoring factory settings but now it seems like i have no channel list because i cant even get bbc or itv anymore if anyone can tell me were i have gone wrong id appreciate it greatly i have a eurovox max v and the screen is saying no channel available

hi there - if you've done a factory reset, you'll have lost your channel list and crucially even your cables.xml file. You will be able to find this somewhere in these forums: I did. Once you've done that, you'll need to re-scan you services. I don't know where you are, but if you're in the UK, a bruteforce scan always works for me. Then, you'll need to reboot probably, and your services file will be re-instated.

You'll also have lost all your EMU (decryption emulators) files, so you'll maybe need to reinstall them too via the download settings on your image. After that, you'd better hope that you have a copy of the nagra files as well, as you'll need to FTP them over (instructions also in these forums) to the right folder (either keys or scce).

I was in the same boat yesterday and am now up and running again after a few re-sets of my own to get there.

new software

yeah same as ive installed new software on the box and now can only get one channel which is the hallmark channel? i done think ive done anything wrong only done the same as when the boxes went down in april. does everyone get the same. cheers. ps is there a problem with the new software?

If I'm not mistaken, the Hallmark channel is not FTA, and even if it were, if you can get one channel, you should at least be able to get the other FTA ones. The only thing that I was able to do was try a different image on the box, and it did the trick for me. For some reason, I'd managed to clutter up with too many cams and their associated software, so it was time for a cleanout. I'd otherwise followed the instructions perfectly and it still didn't work for me until I reinstalled a different image. I'm currently using PLi Jade, but have used DW 2.0 in the past.
