Problem with some boxes accepting new codes

There seems to be a problem with some boxes saving the codes when entered manually, I have a pvr 5000 and tried all the codes several times and it still wouldnt work but after re-entering for the 6th time it worked.
I suggest anyone thats still having a problem to persist and keep trying again and again, it may be the box dosnt save the new codes properley.

just a thought, but it wouldnt be anything to do with those boxes being cloned would it?

Mines a genuine box, but you could be right as to why so many people are still having difficulty, anyhow as i found a way to sort mine out I thought I would share it

mine worked first try, but it is strange why some either wont work, and some take a few trys
