idiots guide needed

i have a eurovox max v and had no channels so i followed the instructions on here to restore factory settings and complete a new search. after doing this the on screen info said no transponders to scan, after reflashing my box with the new download and doing another scan the on screen message is still saying no transponders to scan. can anyone please tell me in idiots terms what im doing wrong and how i can rectify i would be very grateful!!!

Hi m8 if you go to search at the top of the page there is somebody with the same prob and somebody giving the remedy i'm going to try it now myself as mine has the same problem.
