    Fav not working

    Hi guys,
Very much appreciate work put in for new f/w.
Re-flashed my Eurovox Max V and all is well apart from the only function not working being the fav?

Now when I go into the channels set up menu there is a function to manually set the favourites?

Is this the way it is for everyone now?

    Many thanks for any help

you should always back up your channel data before flashing.....and then flash your channel data back to the box.

you live and learn you'll know next time now.

      yes it seems so
If at first you don't succeed,
destroy all evidence that you even tried.

Actually doobiest that wont work. I backup up my channel data, flashed the box, put the file back onto the eurovox just like Ive did with the previousd firmware upgrades, and got the no signal error - the frequencies have moved, so no, that wont always work.

Go to Menu, then go to Channels, then go for Add Favourites.
From the list of channels, give them a colour code, on mine it's Red for Tv Channels, Blue for Entertainment and so on. In all, there are 8 catagories, to get to the other 4, press the Favourite Button, which lets you give them News/Docu. Kids, Music & Locked.
It's a laborious task, but once it's done, they can be saved on your pc via something called Voxer, which is available on here somewhere.
I hope that helps, it's how I sorted out my Eurovox Maxv.
            Good Luck!

Yup happened to a friend of mine too. had to do a deep scan, takes long. Fixes the issue. Remember to save CDF file. I am uploading a CDF file its categorized according to my needs. But def saves time.
              Hope that helps.
