Best hard-drive to buy to put in Eurovox PVR5000

    Hi guys.

First off, just got the new firmware update for Eurovox PVR5000 and it's working a treat so a big thanks for that.

Okay, on to my question. I bought a Eurovox PVR5000 a few months ago, but I didn't get a hard-drive with it. Now I'm considering buying a hard-drive for it on ebay.

    1. Do I need to get a SATA hard-drive?

    2. Is Seagate a good make?

    3. Does it go in the PVR5000 upside down?

    4. What size is safe to put in without overheating? I've heard it mentioned that the 250gb drives overheat. My friend has a 120gb drive. This is the one I'm considering buying.

Thanks in advance for any light you guys can shed on my queries.

    Cheers!

Very True... That sumbs it up...
And do not put it upside down, don't know where you got that from. Rule of thumb, sticker up..
If you do get a tape with the disk use that for easy withdrawal.
