Eurovox EX1000SL

Hi all i'm still experiening problems. can anyone help please?

I have a eurovox ex1000 sl i have tried manually inputing the code to no avail.

I need a firmware update i thing but when i try to dowload the firmwqre to the eurovox i get the following error messages.

No available COM port. what do i need to do to rectify this??? please help

the cables i have are
code - L71BT null modem and ZP43W USB To Serial Convertor

are these correct??

I tried with one of those USB convertors for days & gave up after trying every driver etc on the web, they are notoriously crap.

Find a mate with the correct card in a pc or laptop, then it will take you 5mins max to fix the firmware.
