    ex5000 pvr switches itself off

    hi, my eurovox ex5000 pvr switches itself into standby mode at midnight every night, no timers are set, any ideas how to stop this happening, blu266.

    Take out the HDD for one night, turn off the box. Then try it the next day. HiTeck had the same problem and thats how he solved it.

        Thanks for the reply... I was having that issue too... thought it was the HDD took it out aint tested after that...

          still goes onto standby

          tired your suggestion satsmo, still no joy, box still switches to standby even during playback,it stays on if recording past midnight. Any other ideas would be welcome, thanks blu266.

              I flashed the unit with the latest fix, AU working fine, i'm the UK, Dundee.

                Try a factory reset and reflash, but take the HDD out when doing this. After reflash scan again, then insert the HDD. Remember it will ask you if you want to erase or keep recordings, its up to you as this wont affect the process.
