New firmware problems

I have read quite a few posts from people who have flashed the new firmware onto their boxes only to find that the box will either not update to the new codes or displays the message "No Signal". I have a Max V & live in the 5a 01 area & as yet have not updated my box with the new firmware. I had planned to do it tomorrow,but since reading these various posts i am now having second thoughts. Can anybody shed any light on how common these problems are. Should i update or not ?

yes m8 straight away, maxV have little or no probs,, worse case seems to be a deep scan req, you will understand that when u put new f/w on

there is no problems with max v mate i done 6 with no problems its only the 06 box

i was a little apprehensive to,i have a euro-vox max v 2008 the firmware update wen't like a dream...make sure you upload your channel list then download it to the box after the firmware update then all your channels will be as they were before....hope this helps.

Yes no problems...took about 5 minutes to update to new key roll.
