sending 0%

hi as you can probaly tell im new to all this, well iv battled with com ports and have that sorted now iv started the download but it seems to just be hanging on sending 0% with dnld flashing on the box, am i being too impatiant or is summin still not quite right? any help much appreaceated

Mines a euro vox mav im using usb to serial with the updated drivers

sorry had to pop out to work back on it now tho, my box is a eurovox EX5000 PVR

update... well i managed to start the download it got up to do the full 100% then 90seconds of nail-bitein tention then ...download sucess
I'm now scanning and hoping , anyway this is how i got it going if its of any help to anyone .After having the sending 0% for god knows how meny trys i unplugged the USB rebooted the pc got a beer then when the pc had rebooted i pluged the usb in again started the download, flicked the power on on the box and away it went , the connection to the box seems to be as tempermental as my partner well scans finished and it looks to be all good , im chuffed
