usb cable for eurovox flashing

where can i get a usb cable to flash my eurovox max, got one from maplins but it doesn't seem to work it says no port i have a new laptop running windows vista,also whats the firmware for eurovox red and the newer boxes i think its either kuro or black my mate got it early this year, thanks

i would be looking for the special vista drivers that are posted about m8 before i bought another one as vista has problems with the usb to null

I had the the same problem, try turning the your cable round!

if you bought your cables from maplins then the cable codes should be as follows:

1. Serial Lead (must be Null Modem) Order code L71BT

2. USB to Serial Converter Order Code ZP43W

These are the cables you need. Good Luck
