USB ports

Hi.

can anyone help, trying to install new firmware, have usb dongle etc. i`m setting the port to 4, but when i try to download its indicating port 3/4. if i try to continue the next screen indicates ports 1-4, if i select 4 and continue, nothing is happening - i`m getting - waiting for receiver.

Any ideas please

go into device manager look for the com ports/LPT,properties, advanced properties choose com port 1(eurovox likes com3 i found) then see how you get on. Please make sure your box is not a clone if using the new firmware fix as you will bugger it.

I`ve tried all of the ports, still the same problem + now if i try, its says port in use.

I had same problem it stated port in use I choose com 3 anyway and away it went worked fine do this at your own risk buddy.. if you still have no joy do you know anyone with a pc because it would work first time

hi mate i had same problem i just picked port 1 it said its in use i still clicked ok and it worked for me good luck

I had the same problem and did as Dave did and it worked for me
