how good is the Eurovox EX5000 PVR

After a lot of soul searching etc etc.

I am quite keen on purchasing this box (without the hard drive).

Anybodies comments on this box would be much appreciated, to help me make my mind up. ie good points and bad points.

ive got the ex pvr with hard drive i can tell you the box is very good the picture is very sharp the menu is easy to navigate overall very good but the only downside is the pvr function which when you hit record it takes 30 odd seconds to start recording but this is a firmware problem which will hopefully be resolved hope this helps your decision

If you're going to get this box you might as well take advantage of the hard drive which not only records but can also pause live TV. Make sure you get the correct HDD, I use the Seagate 120gb ide.

ive got the ex5000 and it does what it says on the tin, works great, easy to set up had no probs with it so far
