Hi, I have successfully updated using USB > RS232 to both of my boxes today. All okay until i needed to upgrade a friends box. None of the 4 main download/upgrades would transfer to this 'unidentified' euro-vox (silver coloured) box. This site has a link to show photos of the internal boards and it appears to be a Blue original box. The longer tuner and selection of green capacitors (although topped with brown) and NO red paint on screws seemed to suggest it anyways.
I have tried again to upgrade using blue upgrade and the red and clone files from here. On each occasion the message 'the firmware is not fit for your receiver.." appears.
Any further ideaswould be appreciated please.
I note there is no upgrade for a 'BLACK' box listed.... could this be a black box?
