As you look at box from front on top right are some vents look through you will see a silver tuner module count the vents start at the back and count forward if the silver tuner module spans 8 vents its it's a eurovox max 2007 red box version. If it spans 12 vents it's a eurovox max 2006 blue box version.

                The firmware is here:http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...11-08-a-15604/

Well guys I opened my euro vox max and checked what was on the list but there are some inconsistencies it?s a mate box so I need to get this right. I now know it?s a blue max or a clone because the tuner goes to end of the pcb. but the cover for the scart is black not silver(clone), the screws are clear no red paint(original), it has small green capacitors with brown tops doesn?t look like what was in the picture(?), the cables between the boards were solid not single strands(original), so I am none the wiser any experts out there can give there opinion? cheers

Sounds like an original box to me. Can you through a pic up?
