not that im moaning or nothing but wi put the new software in my digi vox and it didnt work untill i put the code in but i just put the code in my mates box and it come back on and is still workin so what was the point in putting the new software on that came out 31st of november on wen all i needed 2 do was change the code,can anyone explain please,much thanks

ok..when you update your box with the new firmware upgrade and its done correctly! (see the help sections)..when the code changes,the new firmware recognizes the code change and updates automatically,this code change can happen 3 or 4 times a day so unless you get the updated code quickly your gonna miss what your watchin...and also its a nuisance inputing all the time
this is why a lot of people on this site go through a huge amount of trouble to keep us going

shaun do you have the key emu "on".
menu, system information, 1004, then check key emu on. thats off or you aint flashed your box correctly.Comment

YEA THE EMU KEY IS ON AND THE CHANELS ARE ON I JUST WONDERED WHY I STILL HAVE 2 PUT THE CODES IN,MAYBE I DIDNT PUT THE SOFTWARE ON CORRECTLY BUT IM SURE I DID THIS IS HOW I DONE IT GOT THE GREY LEAD BOX UP 2 PC,OPENED DOWNLOADER 10 PUT THE NEW SOFTWARE NEXT 2 WERE IT SAYS BROWSE THEN CLICKED DOWNLOAD WAITED ABOUT A MIN 4 IT 2 FINISH THEN IT SAID DOWNLOAD COMPLETE <<WORKING TILL THE NEXT DAY THEN I HAD 2 PUT THE CODE IN 2 GET CHANNELS BACK ON,ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS WHAT I DONE WRONG I WANT IT SO I DONT HAVE 2 CHANGE THE CODE,CAN ANYONE HELPComment

Was the update really needed??
i have blue eurovox and updated the codes before the firmware was out, kept updating the codes to see how the firmware feedback was but last i updated code was last friday and still working what is going on, do i need to update with new software?
