What you want to know about Starviews.

Here is some info about Starviews:

If you have a Starview 1 your box will only say 'Starview' just above the channel counter on the front of the box. To tell the differences between an original and a clone look at the attached pictures.

If you have a Starview 2 your box will have 'the box' on it.

If you have a Starview 3 your box will have 'the box super' on it.

Do not attempt to load clone firmware to an original box or the other way around as you will damage (brick) it and it will have to be JTAG.

There is no firmware available yet for Starview 1 or clone

The Diffrence in boxes

Thanks pal i have 2 starview boxes one with 7 rows of 18 slots and its scart sockets to the left (looking down from the top of the box) and the other with 7 rows of 25 slots and its scarts are to the right again looking down on the box,, i opened them up and the both look like the 1st generation so will this be okay to flash them with the new Cryptstar v.15 core 257 fix or the core 400 fix using the GTRom 4
