Right then now i've sorted out my username,can anybody give me any advice on up upgrading my eurovox max v box? Haven't got a poblem with it would just like a hd box or one i could record on. was just wandering what the best availiable box's are on the market?

Well as there is only one HD channel on cable mate you would save yourself a lot of money if you go with a normal box. Also the HD boxes are still quite pricey..
Are you wanting to stay with Eurovox or wanting to get a bit more involved in your box? I would say you would not go far wrong than to get yourself a Dm600 if you want to move on a step, the support for it is great and the picture quality is very high.
