Hi all, I might be a bit off topic but I haven t a clue where to look at......it isn t a real problem but it is something that bothers me and I would like to see if it can be sorted.....I have this cheap toshiba lcd tv with usb socket... I would like to play some films (avi, divx......) by putting the file on a usb pen and then plug the pen on my tv. My tv isn't able to do this, she plays only photos and music. Somewhere I read of people trying to upload some new software on the tv to let them watch avi files but I can't remember where I have read this and what made was their tv. Is it possible, or am I probably going to brick my tv? Any idea where I can look for advices? Many thanks

I have played a photo file(JPEG) from usb and not yet tried to play music(the user manual only suggest to use fat32 disk formatting)
I don't think is possible at the moment to play avi files but this is why I am looking if would be possible with a software upgrade....I have heard about people doing it but I can't remember what made was their tv and where I have seen them describing how to do it.
