CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT IS THE BESTBOX TO GET BETWEEN A STARVIEW 4 OR A PACE DITV 1000 ?

i would go with starview 4 hope this helps -
With the PACE box you will need to mess about with the card to update firmware and you will also need a card reader to update the firmware. From what I have read about the Starview boxes the manufacturer seems to have a tendency to stop supporting the old boxes so you may want to think twice about buying a starview box.Comment

thanks for the info, i will go for the starview 3 as its a bit cheaper than the pace,and i dont fancy updating the card as you said you have to do. im no techy on that; but the starview seems easy to do as my friend has one of them. .THANKS AGAIN, AND ALL THE BEST ,Comment

To be honest I would hang back for a few months......bear in mind SV's have dumped any support on SV's manufactured less than 18 months ago now we rely on a hacker to give us software for it.
I have done a deal of research and with the possability of nag3 coming sometime next year you need something future proof or you will end up with an expensive doorstop.......
All the techies tell me it has to be linux based but I would wait and see....Pick up an SV1 if you are desparate you can pick them up for a song after the last fiasco. New software written by sunrise will autoroll. then wait and see. that is my best advise anyway.
