he told me many engineers simply remove the tags off each cable, re wire them so know one knows where they go so no one can get disconnected without someone spending a few days testing where each cable goes....

this is NOT a hint how to bypass dissconections

most of the boxs are in a mess anyway

the tags list what house nuber the cable gos too
if you pull all the tags off it would take em ages to work which cable goes where.

half the boxs the tags are mixed up on anyway
you should have seen the bix i was in early m8 got shit signal and no min package.

so we needed to get in box and inprove his signal. so the modem will lock
as sig was so bad on his line dounstreem was at -40db

the ****er was a right mess with half the tags missing a bastad to find in the dark.

but all sorted now and hes happily running to modems on wingate again


ps they cant disconnect the feed all together

when the goverment originaly gave em permission to dig up half of England for cable.

one of the conditions were once a house was cable they could not disconnect the normal 4 channels eg bb1,1 itv and c4 that why you can plug.

most of em dont know that but if you make enought noise there have to come back and connect it again if they do disconnect it

It can take from 5 to 15 mins to trace the cable from the cab to property...and they dont rely on the tags anyway as most engineers just slap the tag on any cable so they can get to the next job

only in there have acsses to in side of property its easy to trace from house to cab.

its a ****er doing it the other way around trust me.
