Ddigital Tutorial Step by Step

Right it seems a lot of people here are newbies like myself and do not know where to start so I thought I would post this to help.

OK step 1.
Make sure you have
1 RS232 Cable (If you DON'T have a RS232 port a USB to RS323 adapter)
2 The Envision.exe Loader
3 The FIXED DD 281106.bin

Step 2
Start the loader In the SAT section!!!!

Step 3
Select > Loader > Code > Code Send

Step 4
Load the FIXED DD281106.bin

Step 5
Select you com port i.e com 3

Step 6 IMPORTANT!!!!
Make sure you Ddigital Box is OFF AT THE BACK SWITCH!!!!!!

Step 7
Connect your RS323 cable to your box and PC

Step 8
Hit the SEND BUTTON and immediately switch on the box from the BACK switch

Step 9
You should see the box start to flash with the letter "d" on the LCD pannel
and wait for the progress bar to finish

Step 10
Your box is done. You may need to rescan for channels, but I did not the new EMU NUMBER IS 8888 NOT!!! 2580!!

Ok i uploaded the software into box, but the channel are still not working.

guys i got D Digital plus and i scanned all the channels but i m keep on getting one message not running or scrambled can you help me why i m getting this message?

guys can you tell me what cable i need for D digital box to attach with my laptop? is it Rs232 female at one side and USB on other ?

Hi, sorry for this stupid question but, i cant seem to find the COM port. I have tried to go onto the hardware manager but no luck. Is there any other way i can find the COM port out?

problem getting channels

Hi i have succesfully flash the box and tried several re -scans also enabled the emu but cant get any channels keeps on saying NO SIGNAL OR SCRAMBLED only free veiw channels working

Ps i have another box in the front room works fine

Keep trying - the message basically means you either haven't got the timing right between the operations or alternatively you haven't connected things up properly. Its effectively a communications error.
