Im am having a nightmare 1, why did i buy a serial to usb cable to attach to my digivox xl ? i have gone in and changed the usb port to COM1 and still nothing will happen but errors help help help please before i grab a hammer

... You will have to install the drivers for the adaptor.. Does it recognize the box being connected?

it tries to download but then stops and says fail to update flash grrrrrrr

Is there a small box which you have to tick within the loader which is for adaptors like the technomate ones? Try that or you will have to get access to a friends pc..

i ordered the cable from ebay its shit the loader i have only gives options for
COM ports have you go another loader? or could you show me where to get one please

Will that cable even bridge the connection or does it not work at all?

last firmware in downloads above v1341,with all movement of channels best to do a factory reset 0000 to delete,auto scan your provider,and emu to on, menu-system info-ok1004-key emu to on,there is a new encryption out called nagra3 spreading all over uk causing loss of channels = no fix.
