cable connecters

can anyone tell me what kind of connecter and where 2 get it,i've my cable connection outside 1 runs 2 the living room and the other upstairs 2 the bedroom,but i have 2 switch them over if i want to watch the other any help please

you need 'f' type connectors. I buy mine a B&Q for ease... They sell the splitters and cable as well.

what's the splitters.i thought u just need a connecter for 2 cables in and 1 out could u b more precise as iam a noob

splitter is for when you want to split the connection and have two cables coming off one.. But you just need an 'f' type connector then, cost you about a quid at B&Q
