borrowed vm box and card ?

Hi. Probably a silly question but hey ho .... My brother has virgin with all channels and he also has multi-room. I have virgin but only basic tv and bb but what I wanted to ask was ...... If I borrowed one of his vm boxes with his card still inserted will this work at my house ?

Many thanks 4 any replys :-)

Yes as long as you have box and card. Card on its own wont work as they are paired to the box individually.

just bear in mind you need to be in the same area for this to work, so if your in a exntl and the brother is in ex CW wont work, different net IDs, so if in the same area, it will work

As others have said it will be fine, a few friends have been doing this for a few months.

Be aware that the way the cable system works means that VM can tell pretty much within 20-30 houses exactly where a box is located.

Although they may not be chasing people for moving boxes at this time they could do so at any time they wish !!!

If you really want to do this then your best bet for long term success is to do it with a very near neighbour.
