Where can i get similar cable & connector virgin media has installed at my home. I want to extend the cable to different room?

What is it called both cable and connector? Can i get in ebay or maplin?

coax cable any hardware store... buy by the metre or on a reel.. f-connectors. again any hardware store

B&Q sell them or Maplins.. but as stated above most hardware stores should have it

do i need special tool to fit this connector on the cable?

no bud.. just a pair of wire cutters, a stanley knife and a pair of pliers

The cable is RG-6 and the connectors are F connectors.

If you want exactly as virgin do it then yes you would need crimping pliers and 'crimpable' f-connecters, but its not relly neccessary, the 'sky' type twist-on connecters will suffice.

also if you want it exactly as virgin do it, drill a hole through your wall which is too small, then realise its too small for cable and drill a massive hole...
