what box will give a better picture on a 50" Plasma - Samsung or dbox?

Would a samsung 2100c give a better picture than a dbox2 on a 50" plasma?

Going to be using an Ixos scart lead.

anyone know?

I would go for the sammy, the dbox is a bit older, but the difference should not be that much frankly!

My sons mate has a 95" display for his Xbox360!

It's a stand-alone projector and screen though.

Regarding the CD player, you'll not get better than those Technika ones in TESCO.

i had a technika dvd player a few years back. best dvd player i've ever had. no joke! unfortunately it got brokened in a house move.

I would have said the Samsung would definately be better than the dbox2, but in all honesty, it really depends what panel you have... I have the new 50" Pioneer PDP-LX5090 Plasma and to be honest i find my DM500C picture absolutely pants,I have gold monster scart cable so no expense spaired,but i generally just watch sky HD mostly, my panel although fantastic on both freeview and HD is not the best at SD through a cable box.
My old Panasonic TH42PWD6 Monitor however was fantastic on SD and was pretty impressive watching HD material through the scart cable.

i have a 50 " samsung and i use a eurovox and replay and pace ( sorry i have three rooms which all have 50" tvs ) and they all work well on them and the image is ok too i some times sit and watch the tv while its off just looking at the size i do have big ones
