    splitter issue

Hi, I have a Konig 3 in one splitter. I am running 2 dreamboxes and one VM cable modem.

I am having issues with inteference and pictuare quality as soon I turned the modem on. I have bought a Konig CATV booster. Would this help? would have to install this in between the splitter and the main VM wall socket?

    Thanks

Can you be a bit more specific, when you say interference do you mean blocky pictures and audio loss ?
I would interogate your dreambox and check the signal quality
    Look at SNR & AGC
You should have similar levels to this >
    SNR 96%
    AGC 39 %
    BER 0

      Hi
The problem you are having is very likely to be the fact that you are taking too much signal from your main B/Band feed by using a 3way. Mine is connected similar but I only use a Konig (1 in 2 out) where B/Band is the input, output 1 to dm500 and output 2 to modem/router and this works fine, the Konig splitter Freq range is 5-2400Hhz. Try disconnecting a DM or trying a 2 way output like mine.

        I had the same issue.

1st split the cable with a 2 way splitter

1 output to modem and the other to another splitter (u can use your 3 way here towards your boxes)

then your modem will be on an independant feed of sorts and there will be bo pixelation etc...

        def worked for me

          Maybe a dodgy Splitter?

I have a single cable entering my living room, which is then split 3 ways with a 3 way splitter,

          Output 1 = Cable modem
          Output 2 = Dreambox
          Output 3 = Subbed V+ box

          No issues whatsoever.

I too use two 3way splitters similar to as jakzon describes.
last week while the CableGUY was round fixing my phone line (kids ripped it clean out of wall)
He tested the signal running from the 2nd splitter and the signal was good.
Have you tried an Attenuator? I tried 6 & 3 but it did little to improve my Nokia dbox2.

            Regards

What I will do is use a 2 in 1 splitter and the split again and run the dreamboxes off the 2nd split.

If I were to use the Konig amplifier where would I install it?
