surround sound for a v+ hd box

hi i wondered if any 1 can help im after a surround sound system i have a v+hd box and i wondered what i need to buy for it to work on my v+ box any ideas any 1 thanks in advance

what outputs are on box like spdif or digital coax out,then just link a cable to your input of 5-1 sound system

yes it as got spdif ,usb ,ethernet ,i look around and you seem to have to buy surround sound that come with either a dvd or blue ray ,is there any other i can buy that just plug into the virgin box and it works sorry to ask so many questions im a bit thick how this kind of thing works Thanks
