Virgin in other room

Hi guys,

My grandfather has virgin installed with all channels, he would like to be able to run it into the bedroom as he has another virgin box he got (v+ with missing card) is there any way this can work? My grandmother is bedridden ATM so she would like to watch her own channels.

Maybe flash the box?

He doesn't fancy paying a fiver extra a month for a box he already has (tight old git)
