Hi, hope someone can answer this question, i want to try the kryptview box in my uncles flat, he does have virgin tv but not internet, can i take my router and try it in his flat? Thanks.

you can take the kv and router around your uncles but you will have to connect the routr to his bb .make sure that is done first and then you can use it as if it was in your house easy to do

Thanks for that, he doesn't have broadband but he has a live feed for tv, does what your saying mean it would be ok to split his cable and connect my router? as he doesn't pay for internet it would still work? hope i'm explaining myself correctly. Cheers.

if he does not have bb then the router will not work .which means kv will not work ,but saying that you can split it and get free to air .if you can not get bb then get a 3g and a 3g router and that will be fine. get back to me if you need help

Thanks, i was just trying to find out if he could get it where he lives, he is in cardiff by the way, if i knew it would be ok in his flat i was going to get him a kryptview box, all he had to do then was pay for broadband aswell as his tv, i can't see any reason why it wouldn't work if he got internet on his package from virmin, if that makes sence.

if he gets any form of bb, be it vermin, sly, bt etc, then the kv will work
