well i wnt t flash my digivox thru that cable but i cant even sorted out my driver for HL USB rs232 cable. now i m fedup and gona buy from maplin. i hpe tht will work with vista!!!!!Comment

If you have a spare PCI slot in your PC why not just buy a Vista Compatible PCI Serial card,
It will cost you about a 10er at the most and are much more reliable than a USB adapter, takes about 5 mins to fit it mate.

i have the same cheap usb rs232 cable and have been working for days to make it work on windows 7 64 bits, and no luck, any have any help for me? i know there is a lot of ppl that have the same issue and if i can make a difference to get help for me and all the others would be nice!Comment

i bought the same cable from ebay used it loads of times on vista with no probs, i used the prolific drivers from macrovision, get them here> Drivers for USB to Serial Adapters Prolific Chip 64-bit 2009 at SerialGear.comComment
