    2 Way Splitter

    Hi,

I have just bought a splitter and put it on my V broadband and use one lead to watch the TV and other to the modem. Unfortunately when i do that the modem doesn't work properly and hence i cannot browse the net,the tv works fine. But when i take the lead out of the splitter and directly connect to modem, the internet works... it does say Power Pass o the splitter. Also got 5-2400 MHz. I also bought a splitter without power pass and no joy, the same.can any one help please?

      Does Work

What you done is correct, it does work, reasons for no signal.

      A. Faulty splitter.

      B. Faulty workmanship, check all terminations with a meter.

      C. Faulty modem / router, whatever connects ( borrow a friends modem to try, this way you can rule out your is faulty)

My brother had the identical prob Mate , a duff (cheap) splitter .
Once changed , his broadband was fine , and he feeds 2 cable boxes off his tv feed , no probs .
