atmega card fix

cant post the link on this site mate but google tcb. toolbar and install - you will get what you need. delete your flash replace with the new one bingo.

a downloaded the tcb m8 and tried to download the file and nothing happend a dont no if its this vista i have just installed a will pm u my email and if u dont mind can u email me the file

hi guys im a bit thick at this but can some one tell me what i need to update my atmega163 card so i can get all channels thanks?

1. The first thing you will need is a card programmer;

2. You need to know your bk and ird for your box (you dont actually need them if you already have an atmega that was au until November);

Note: The easiest way to get your bk and ird if you dont know them is from your card that has been working.. Pop the card into your programmer and choose option "read" exteep. Save this to your pc. Now download atmega boxkey reader. Open this up load the exteep and your magic data will appear.

3. Go to google and type in tcb.cc toolbar. Download and install; [or send me a pm and i will send it to you];

4. Now on the toolbar click on "files and fixes" then "card fixes" then choose atmega; [or send me a pm and i will send it to you];

5. The file you need is in a compressed "rar" folder. Unrar this and save it to your pc.

6. Place your card in the programmer (chip down) and choose option "erase" but for "flash" only.

7. Now load the new flash file (relevant to your area) that you have just downloaded and choose option "write" flash.

8. Once complete pop the card into your box, wait 5 mins and bingo. You will now be watching the footie again.

Take your time you will be fine. Its not a case of being thick mate. Your new to it so it seems a bit daunting. Once you have done it a couple of times you will see how easy it is.

What files do you have to edit on the dreambox for it to read the card?

Dan sorry mate i have never used a card for the dreambox. i just use the same magic files as others. i actually done a couple of boxes of mates of mates and they had cards in their boxes. no idea why to be honest as they clearly never had blockers on them as the boxes were down!

hi people its me again does any one know how i can get the box number on my pace 1000 box i have the ird number but dont know the web site to go on to pair them up. cheers
