Yes could get analog even with the aerial pointing off target. Sounds like there is nothing wrong with the downconverter you have but like you say i could be making noise. So its get a new power supply or get the ladders out i know which one i go for.

sorry but i find this hard to believe you are telling me that I can hook my digivox-t up to an anolgue aerial and i will get 126 channels? its not that i dont believe you i am just amazed

Its a digital signal so they can squeeze 8-10 channels on one freq

Ive tried a box-t on an analogue aerial but nothing came thro,so i bought an 18v powersupply and one of these downconverters and got the box up and running in a minute after a full scan.
