DM800se question

I have a DM800se which will share my sub to a dm500 in the other room (sat).

If I got the additional tuner for dvb-c, would I be able to sustain both or if I watched the cable would the sat go off on the 500?

If so, which box, would you recommend for cable? (yes its becoming a hobby!)

You in UK mate? If so the options for cable are very limited, due to new encryption
